Some friendships leave a mark on our lives that words can hardly describe. A familiar look, a greeting at the door, an ordinary day spent together… TheDrawnPaws was created to immortalize our beloved companions through charcoal sketches drawn by hand, preserving their presence in a lasting collection.
This first edition brings together 100 companions, each with a personality all their own. Every sketch was drawn by me, creating a collection dedicated to the bonds we share with them and the love they bring into our lives.
This project also holds a deeply personal meaning for me. I dedicated the first edition of TheDrawnPaws to Tango, my childhood companion and first friend. I believe that the companions we never forget can continue to leave their mark on our lives through art.
What will you find inside?
Each companion’s dedicated page features their photograph, my charcoal sketch, their name, their owner’s Instagram username, and a QR code linking to the drawing video.
Scan the QR code with your phone to watch the sketch take shape and see their expression and character emerge through each line. Alongside the finished drawings, the book lets you experience the process behind their creation.
The pages are arranged alphabetically by the companions’ names.
A personal mark: space for their own paw print
Every page also includes a dedicated space where you can add your companion’s own paw print. If you wish, you can use this space to turn your copy into an even more personal and unique keepsake.
While the drawing captures my interpretation of your companion, their paw print leaves a mark that comes directly from them. When you return to these pages years from now, you will have a tangible reminder of the life you shared.

You can order TheDrawnPaws with its standard cover or make your copy more personal by choosing a personalized cover.
A personalized cover option is available for each of the 100 companions featured in the book. If your companion is part of this collection, you can order a copy featuring their artwork on the cover. They will appear both on their dedicated page inside and on the cover created especially for you.
The personalized cover is an optional extra available at an additional cost. To order this version, simply select the corresponding cover option when placing your order.

My purpose in creating TheDrawnPaws was to capture something of how our companions make us feel, alongside their appearance. Each page celebrates an individual personality and a companion who holds a very special place in someone’s life.
